Kor Oracle

The Kor Oracle is a distortion/crunch pedal based on a fully original idea and circuit. 3 gain stages in sequence, as in the HiGain tube amps.

The first stage is controlled by a so-called VOICE control and it is basically a medium frequencies boost, which overdrives and slightly compresses the sound, generating even harmonics like a tube pre-amp.

The second stage further overdrives the first-stage output signal and is controlled by the GAIN which determines its overall distortion.

The third stage is a distortion which works at high frequencies only (from ca.1000 Hz upwards, in a progressive way), in order to have a huge number of overtones, so mush sought-after in all rock-guitar sounds!

It has a 2-mode switch: Crunch (inspired by the supercharged Marshall Plexi sounds) and Distortion (modern sounds, with a high harmonic content and great sustain).

Thanks to the 2-mode switch and to the VOICE control it is easy to switch from blues sounds (SRV, J.Bonamassa) to rock sounds (Eddie Van Halen)!
