The all-valve Kerry King Signature JCM800 2203KK is the essence of simplicity. A single-channel tube amp with no reverb or effects. It’s easy control panel, distinctive roar, and larger than life edge has set the standard by which many rock amps are judged.

Zak Wylde, the guitar wizard in Ozzy Osbourne’s band, as well as his own Black Label Society, has used Marshall amps for years to get his signature sound. He collaborated with Marshall to come up with special touches to make the 2203ZW sonically unique.

We profiled these amazing amps with a Marshall 1960A 4×12 cab equipped with 4 Vintage 30 speakers (Kerry King) and with a Marshall 1960AX 4×12 cab equipped with 4 Greenback 30 speakers (Zakk Wylde).
