Soldano Hot Rod 100 Plus

The Hot Rod 100 Plus is a 100 watt 2-channel guitar amp head with independent preamp and master volume controls for each channel. The Normal channel is amazing for crystal clean sounds. The Overdrive channel gives awesome sustain and gain for rock and heavy sounds or liquid solos. The tone controls shape the sound of both channels and are interactive— meaning each control will effect the others. This gives the flexibility to dial in all the unique and subtle tones that this amp can provide. The Soldano Hot Rod 100 plus amp head also has a global presence control that lets add high end sparkle to both channels. It’s an amp inspired by the SLO100 but with a different taste.

We decided to create some profiles boosting the overdrive channel with an original TS9 made in 1983. The result is simply amazing!

We profiled this amp with a Friedman 4×12 cab loaded with 2 Celestion Vintage 30 and 2 Celestion Greenback speakers.
